Where Perfect Player stands today
Perfect Player was made by Niklabs Software. Three facts describe its situation when we checked on 6 October 2026:
- The last release, version 1.6.0.1, is dated 20 October 2021.
- Its Google Play page returns “not found”.
- The maker’s website, niklabs.com, shows a “coming soon” placeholder; archived copies show the real site until mid-2023.
That leaves copies on download sites the developer does not control. We would not install a program that handles your subscription login from a source nobody can vouch for.
What Perfect Player did well
It was fast and simple. It read M3U and XSPF playlists, matched them to a guide in XMLTV or JTV format, kept several playlists, and let you hide and rename channels. Its Windows version could even serve playlist data to the Android app. If your installed copy still does what you need, nothing forces you to change.
It never listed film and series sections, recording, or a parental lock, and no Mac version was ever published.

What TV Flow offers instead
- A maintained app with an official download. TV Flow comes from tvflow.app and installs its own updates.
- Windows and Mac.
- Xtream Codes login as well as M3U links and files.
- Films and series as a library, with posters, ratings, seasons and episodes.
- The same simplicity for live channels: groups on one side, channels on the other, instant search, favourites.
- Arabic or English, with a right-to-left layout.
Where Perfect Player was ahead: TV Flow has no full guide grid. It shows the current and the next programme on each channel, with Xtream logins.
TV Flow costs $19.99 once for one computer, after a free three-day trial.
