XCIPTV for PC and Mac: what to use instead

XCIPTV is the player many providers hand out under their own name, so plenty of people know it without knowing what it is called. It is an Android app, and that is where the search for a computer version ends.

The short answer

XCIPTV Player is made for Android devices and Fire TV. Its maker lists no Windows or Mac version. If your provider gave you an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link for XCIPTV, the same details work in TV Flow on a Windows PC or a Mac.

What XCIPTV is

XCIPTV Player is made by OTTRUN, a company in New York that also sells branded versions of it to service providers. The public app on Google Play has more than ten million downloads and was last updated in August 2026. It signs in with an Xtream Codes login or an M3U link and offers a guide, catch-up, film and series sections, favourites, scheduled recording, parental control and up to four channels on screen at once.

Is there an XCIPTV for Windows or Mac?

Its maker’s pages list Android and Fire TV. They also mention versions for iPhone and Apple TV, but the App Store link on the maker’s own site led nowhere when we checked. Nothing is listed for Windows or macOS. As with other Android players, the only way onto a computer is an Android emulator.

Questions people ask

Can I install XCIPTV on a laptop?

Only inside an Android emulator. XCIPTV’s maker lists no Windows or Mac version.

My provider gave me an XCIPTV login. Will it work elsewhere?

Usually, yes. It is normally an Xtream Codes login (server, username, password), which any player that supports Xtream can use, including TV Flow. Some providers’ branded apps hide the server address; ask your provider for it.

Does TV Flow record like XCIPTV?

No. TV Flow has no recording and no catch-up.

Where the facts about XCIPTV come from (read on 6 October 2026; apps change, so check the maker's page before you decide):

XCIPTV and the other names on this page belong to their owners. TV Flow is not affiliated with any of them.
